CRIF allocates Rs. 874-cr for road infrastructure in Haryana

Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF)
The Union Transport Ministry's Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) scheme has allocated Rs. 874 crore for the widening and strengthening of 11 roads and bridges in Haryana. The state's Deputy Chief Minister, who also serves as the Public Works Department Minister, explained that the roads would be upgraded to meet current requirements. The Surewala Mor to Punjab-Haryana border road in Hisar district will be widened, while the Panipat-Safidon-Jind Road will be transformed into a four-lane stretch from Panipat to Safidon and 10 meters wide from Safidon to Jind. Additionally, the 18 km Uchana to Litani road in Jind district will be widened by 7 meters, and the Hansi-Tosham road will be converted into a four-lane stretch up to the Hisar district border, with three bridges on this route also being widened and strengthened. Other roads, such as the Kalanwali-Dabwali road, Dabwali-Kalanwali road via Desu Jodha, and Dadri-Bond Road and Dadri-Chirya road, will also be widened and strengthened as per the necessary requirements.
