Ashoka Buildcon wins ₹2, 161-cr contract for elevated road corridor in Bihar

Ashoka Buildcon has won a contract for the construction and improvement of the Danapur-Bihta section of highway in Danapur, Bihar. The project includes the conversion of the existing two lanes into four lanes and will involve an investment of ₹2,161 crore.

The project will involve at-grade improvements from Design Ch:0+000 to Design Ch: 19+870, providing connectivity to the existing Road Over Bridge (RoB) near Danapur station (0.231 km), 1.35 Km ramps, and the upgradation of the existing carriageway from Design Ch:19+870 to Design Ch:23+500 of the Bihta-Koilwar section, which has a length of 25.081 kilometers. The company will be undertaking the project on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.

This project is a part of the initiative to enhance the road infrastructure in the state of Bihar and will help improve the connectivity and transportation in the region. It is expected that this infrastructure development will boost the economic development of the area and provide better transportation facilities for the citizens.
