ReNew Commissions India’s Largest Made-in-India Solar Project in Jaisalmer

India’s Largest Made-in-India Solar Project

ReNew has inaugurated a 1.3 GWp solar power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan—India’s largest solar installation built entirely with Made-in-India components. Spanning approximately 3,500 acres across villages in Pokran and Bhaniyana tehsils, the project features 100% ReNew-manufactured solar panels, with 90% produced at its Jaipur facility.

The plant is expected to generate around 2,490 million units of electricity annually, powering nearly five lakh households and offsetting 2.3 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year—marking a significant step toward India’s renewable energy goals.
