Realtors ink JV to build country's biggest mixed-use project

Joint Venture
The Singapore-based GIC fund and India's realty builder DLF have joined hands to build a mixed-use project on a 23-acre land parcel in Gurugram. Named Down Town, it is located on the highway opposite DLF’s 2.5 million sq ft commercial project Cyber Park in the satellite city. The project will house serviced apartments, a five-star hotel and commercial spaces, which will be developed over five years. To be executed through DCCDL, the project is expected to supersede the country’s largest retail development of the 2.5-million-sq-ft LuLu International Shopping Mall in Kochi and DLF’s own 2-million-sq-ft Mall of India in Noida.
