Ravin Group Partners with J Kumar for Mumbai Metro Line 3 Safety

Mumbai's first underground Metro Line 3

Ravin Group has collaborated with J Kumar Infraprojects and Mumbai Metro for the successful launch of Mumbai's first underground Metro Line 3 (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ). The project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5. The Metro's Aqua Line aims to transform Mumbai’s urban mobility, offering seamless connectivity and safer, more efficient travel.

Ravin’s contribution includes the installation of Ignamo Fire Survival Cables, designed to withstand extreme fires for over 120 minutes, ensuring circuit integrity without emitting harmful smoke or fumes. Manufactured in Maharashtra, these cables are critical for the safety of underground metros, high-rise buildings, and enclosed spaces.

In Phase I, Ravin oversaw the installation of these cables from SEEPZ to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), and will continue in Phase II to Colaba. Ravin’s efforts underscore India’s growing capabilities in safety engineering and infrastructure development, contributing significantly to Mumbai’s future growth and transformation.
