In order to make the Jaipur city a wonder city, the state Chief Minister has recently laid foundation of 14 projects worth Rs. 2,229cr. The projects included converting Amanishah Nala into its original form of Dravyawati River and the project is being undertaken by Jaipur Development Authority, Tata Projects Limited, and Shanghai Urban construction group, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,676cr. The project aims to make the 47-km long water body pollution-free and beautiful. In addition, they also included the construction of Birla Auditorium. Besides, the projects of 2.8 km long elevated road in Sitapura, Dantli and, Jahota, construction of Engineering Staff Training Institute, development of 100 parks and Sylvan Project Phase-II, are among other projects which were launched simultaneously. The Chairman of Tata Group of companies, Cyrus Mistry, who was also present on the occasion, said the project will be completed within the stipulated timelines.
