Railways to Construct Four Key Bridges in Odisha to Boost Connectivity

The Ministry of Railways has announced the construction of four major rail bridges in Odisha to enhance connectivity in eastern India. These bridges will span the Mahanadi, Birupa, Kathajodi, and Kuakhai rivers, forming part of the third line expansion between the Bhadrak-Vizianagaram rail section (385 km). The projects, to be executed on an EPC basis, are estimated to cost approximately ₹996.60 crore.
