PWD Begins Rs 79.5 Lakh Repair Work on Andrews Ganj Flyover in Delhi

The project, with an allocated cost of Rs 79.5 lakh, focuses on repairing and replacing damaged or missing handrails and boundary walls to improve commuter safety. The scope of work also includes the installation of precast concrete Jersey barriers along the flyover to enhance protection for vehicles and pedestrians.
Located in South Delhi, the Andrews Ganj flyover is a key traffic corridor connecting Lajpat Nagar, Defence Colony and the Inner Ring Road, and carries a high volume of daily traffic. The repair work aims to strengthen safety infrastructure on this critical stretch and ensure smoother traffic movement.
The maintenance initiative is part of a broader effort by PWD to address wear and tear across Delhi’s ageing flyover infrastructure.
