PVV Infra Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 650 crore with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish a 1 GW N-Type TOPCon Solar Cells Manufacturing Facility in Visakhapatnam. The MoU was formalized on November 15, 2025, marking a major milestone in India’s renewable energy manufacturing landscape.

The upcoming state-of-the-art facility, located near the Visakhapatnam Airport project, will be developed on a 30-acre industrial site within an emerging solar cell manufacturing cluster. The project is expected to generate 350 direct and 450 indirect employment opportunities, driving both industrial growth and skill development in Andhra Pradesh.

PVV Infra will leverage its expertise in investment, technology, design, and equipment sourcing to build and operationalize this advanced manufacturing unit. The initiative aligns with India’s renewable energy mission and Andhra Pradesh’s vision for sustainable industrial development, strengthening the country’s position in high-efficiency solar technology production.
