Prestige Group plans big ticket projects in Mumbai & Pune
After consolidating its position in the southern market, Bengaluru-based real-estate building major Prestige Group, has decided to launch big ticket projects at Byculla in south Mumbai and another project in Pune, said CMD Irfan Razack. The company has several projects running in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The residential real estate market is expected to grow significantly on the back of factors such as urbanization, rise of nuclear families, and increasing disposable incomes. Affordable housing is the need of the hour. Luxury housing being a niche market, witnesses a slower momentum. Given that there is a lot of inventory in the market, luxury housing will continue to move slowly. The company has completed over 10,000 apartments and over 100 million sqft of development. Prestige recently inaugurated luxurious developments with Kingfisher Towers.
