The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has launched a major infrastructure upgrade along the Pune Metro Line 3 corridor, stretching 50 km (25 km in each direction) from Maan depot in Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.
The project involves transforming the entire route into a durable cement-concrete (CC) road, with improved public amenities and road infrastructure. Key features include parking lanes, bus bays, lay-bys, medians, utility ducts, pedestrian walkways, and beautification elements. The plan also covers utility relocation and electrification to support long-term urban mobility.
