In a major push to infrastructure development in the area, the Prime Minister has recently launched 17 development projects worth ₹538 crore covering areas such as road, power generation, manufacturing, education and social infrastructure including healthcare in Amethi Parliamentary Constituency. Apart from this, he also dedicated Indo-Russia Rifles to the nation at Kauhar area in the same constituency. The latest series of the iconic Kalashnikov rifles will be made in the Korwa Ordnance Factory, an example of Make in India to bolster the armed forces and strengthening national security. Among others, the project also injected a tremendous developmental booster to the UP Defence Corridor project.
