PM Modi Lays Foundation for ₹1,010 Cr City Gas Distribution Project in West Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a major City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in Alipurduar, West Bengal, valued at over ₹1,010 crore. The project aims to supply Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to more than 2.5 lakh households, over 100 commercial units and industries, and provide Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) through around 19 new CNG stations.

This initiative, aligned with the Government’s Minimum Work Program targets, promises convenient, reliable, and eco-friendly fuel supply while generating employment opportunities in the region.
