PM Launches Infra Projects Worth ₹46,300 Cr in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 24 projects worth over ₹46,300 crore in Rajasthan, spanning energy, road, railways, and water sectors.
The inauguration included nine projects valued at over ₹11,000 crore, comprising seven central government and two state government projects. Key initiatives unveiled were the Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network, railway electrification of the Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section, and Package 12 of the Delhi-Vadodara Greenfield Highway. These projects aim to ease commutes and advance the state's energy goals, aligning with the PM's vision for green energy.
The foundation stone was laid for 15 projects worth over ₹35,300 crore, including the Ramgarh and Mahalpur Barrages, and the transfer system from Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur and Isarda Dams. Major renewable energy initiatives include rooftop solar installations on government buildings, a 2,000 MW solar park, and two 1,000 MW solar park phases in Poogal, Bikaner.
Other key projects include drinking water transmission lines in Dholpur and Bharatpur and railway works such as the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Double Line, Ajmer-Chanderiya Double Line, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Double Line, along with energy transmission upgrades.
