PM commits ₹25 lakh-cr for building rural infrastructure
To boost rural infrastructure development, the PM has committed ₹25 lakh crore. About ₹3.5 lakh crore will be used for building facilities for water conservation and water harvesting projects. The government had started the Jal Jeevan Mission. When pure water is made available to everyone, it will change the landscape of the rural economy. The industry will also develop swiftly in drought-hit regions and will generate jobs for the local masses.
