Pithmapur Park awaits Rs.15k-cr investment

The upcoming Pithmapur Park in Indore being built by the state owned Audhyoic Kendra Vikas Nigam (AKVN), which is being developed on 470 hectare and is likely to be ready by the middle of next year, offered Rs.15,000 crore investment avenues for the Industry. Out of the total area, 200 acre has been earmarked for Japanese investors as the Park has already earned a fame as one of the hot investment spot of the country as the state is taking a giant leap for its second phase of industrialization. The state of the art park, which would have world class industrial infrastructure as the integrated park is being developed in Indore at a prime location on AB Road where AVKN by investing Rs.225 crore and about 20% of the project work has already been completed, managing director, AKVN Indore, Kumar Purushottam said, adding that though the project is under development phase, the agency is receiving overwhelming enquires from industries for a space in the park. Salient features of the industrial park included 108 commercial plots of 2 acre each with the facility of clubbing them together for a bigger one. The park will have all necessary industrial infrastructures and facilities including warehouses, schools, hospitals, police and fire station, petrol pump and community facilities like theatre and community hall with lush green surroundings.
