Parnika Estates bags ₹170-cr metro contract

Delhi-based Parnika Commercial & Estates has bagged a contract for construction of Metro depot structures, site development work, internal roads and drainage work for the depot at Hebbagodi in Reach-5 (RV Road – Bommasandra) corridor of Phase-2 part of the project involving an investment of ₹171 crore. With this, BMRCL has completed the tenders for all civil construction work of the Yellow Line. The 18.8-km Metro line that connects Electronics City plies between Bommasandra and RV Road via Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout and Silk Board, is expected to be operational by 2021. Meanwhile, BMRCL has selected Shree Balaji Test House for the additional geotechnical investigation from K R Puram to Kempegowda International Airport, and Myrtle Project and Consultancy for tests on the Outer Ring Road from Central Silk Board Junction to K R Puram, including Baiyappanahalli depot entry lines, informed an official spokesperson.
