PALFINGER to Launch P6 Radio Remote Control for TEC Cranes in 2025

PALFINGER has announced the launch of its new P6 radio remote control for TEC Loader Cranes, available from January 2025. Designed in collaboration with SCANRECO and based on customer feedback, the P6 combines lightweight, compact design with precise functionality, offering crane operators enhanced efficiency and comfort.

The P6 is among the smallest and lightest radio remote controls with a color display. Its linear levers and joysticks allow for precise operation, making it ideal for complex crane movements in urban or specialized applications. An integrated acceleration sensor enhances safety by automatically stopping operations if the device detects a fall.

Featuring a 3.5-inch TFT color display, the P6 provides clear control over crane functions. With a 20-hour battery life, extendable with an additional battery, it ensures uninterrupted operation for long assignments. The ergonomic design includes hip and shoulder strap options for comfortable handling during extended use.

Operating on a stable 2.4 GHz frequency band, the P6 ensures a reliable radio connection under all conditions. With up to ten console variants, it can be customized to meet diverse application needs. This flexibility, combined with easy availability of spare parts, makes the P6 a practical solution for demanding scenarios.

Michael Völker, Head of Product Management Crane at PALFINGER EMEA GmbH, highlighted the focus on real-world requirements, stating that the P6 will enhance safety, efficiency, and comfort in daily crane operations.

The P6 will complement the existing PALCOM P7 remote control, completing PALFINGER’s portfolio for TEC Loader Cranes.
