Odisha targets Rs. 874-cr road network

In order to build seamless road network across the state, the state government in Odisha, at the recent State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meet, has approved three projects involving investment of Rs. 874cr, Chief Secretary, A P Padhi, said. Among others, they also included the construction of railway corridor in Jharsguda Sundargarh districts, building of flyover, Info-valley, and Khandagiri crossings in Bhabaneswar, widening of road from Mendhasala to Sea Food Park at Deras, and development of Aluminium Park at Angul. Apart from these, in the SLSWCA meet, the government also approved a proposal of Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited for expansion of its non-alcoholic plant at Industrial estate in Khurda with a total investment of Rs. 500cr. Yet another project, which is the third one, also gets approval for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Common User Facility Centre at Dhutra of Jharsuguda district for the storage of petroleum products at an investment of Rs. 272cr.
