Odisha launches ₹715-cr infrastructure projects

The CM of Odisha has kickstarted 231 projects of over ₹715 crore in Ganjam district. These will include roads, buildings, tourism and water projects. The CM laid the foundation stone for railway over bridges (ROBs) at Jagannathpur and Ambapua worth ₹65 crore and improvement of 9 major roads in Berhampur, Hinjili, Gopalpur, Chikiti and Digapahandi worth ₹113.51 crore, said Superintending Engineer, PWD Berhampur Circle, Binod Kumar Padhy. The chief minister also laid the foundation stone for 11 tourism projects and for a double-lane 15-km road from Karapalli to Loudigaon of ₹49 crore. This approach road will be an important development for the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Berhampur.
