Odisha launches ₹1,495-cr infra projects

The state government in Odisha has launched 32 infrastructure and construction projects at an investment worth ₹1,495 crore including construction work of a cancer hospital in Bargarh district of the state, said official sources. One of the major schemes is the Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project, to be constructed at a cost of ₹1,340.55 crore, which would provide irrigation facilities to 25,600 hectares of land in Bijepur, Sohela and Barpali blocks.
