Odisha Chief Minister Inaugurates & Launches Development Projects Worth Rs 948 Cr

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 948 crore. During the event, he launched the city’s electric bus service and flagged off 25 new e-buses. Another 25 e-buses will be added later this month, taking the fleet size to 50. He also inaugurated a modern bus terminal of the Capital Region Urban Transport at Ainthapali to support efficient operations. A total of Rs 238.14 crore has been allocated for bus and terminal maintenance over the next ten years.

Majhi also dedicated several infrastructure projects in Sambalpur district. He laid foundation stones for 11 works including the Hirakud Dam master plan, development of Cordola Handloom Village, Burla Ring Road, Hirakud Ring Road, Mundghat-Chaurpur Road and the Remed-Hirakud four-lane road. The widening of the Bhojpur-Jamankira road was also inaugurated.
