Northern Railway Floats ₹186.7 Cr Tender for Multitracking Project in UP

Northern Railway has invited bids for a ₹186.7 crore project under the Varanasi–Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya multitracking initiative. The scope includes extensive earthwork, construction and widening of major bridges, road underbridges (RUBs), and a new rail-cum-road bridge over the Ganga River. Scheduled for completion in 18 months, the project also involves supplying and laying blanketing material, building retaining walls, and extending minor bridges. The work falls under the Lucknow Division and spans a 15-km stretch between Kashi and Varanasi.
