NHPC Begins Commercial Operations of 107.14 MW at Bikaner Solar Project

NHPC has commenced commercial operations of 107.14 MW out of its 300 MW solar photovoltaic project at Karnisar in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, with partial commissioning effective April 12, 2025.

The state-owned hydropower major announced that the commissioning schedule for the remaining 193 MW will be shared in due course. This milestone marks NHPC’s expanding footprint in the renewable energy sector, aligning with India’s climate goals and commitment to clean energy transition.
