NHIDCL floats tenders for ₹187-cr road project

In an attempt to build top class road network in the north eastern region, the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has floated tenders for road works in Assam. The scope of work includes widening and improvement of the existing road stretch into four-lanes with paved shoulder and stretching from 113.300 km to 131.500 km of Kwaram Taro village-Manja section (Package-6) of NH-29 under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, said an official spokesperson. The assigned work for the ₹187.66 crore project has to be completed in 18 months.
