NHAI takes up works of NH-334-B

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
The NH-334-B that starts from Bahalgarh in Haryana and connects Bagphat-Meerut in Uttar Pradesh has recently been entrusted to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for its development, upgradation and maintenance. Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Bahalgarh-Haryana/Uttar Pradesh border stretch has been taken up by NHAI. DPR from the Haryana/Uttar Pradesh border to Baghpat-Meerut stretch is at initial stages of preparation by UP PWD. DPR for the Delhi-Sharanpur stretch is also at initial stages of preparation of the same agency. Currently, this is a 2-lane NH standard road in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh states. In the state of Uttar Pradesh, this NH was handed over by the state Govt in May, 2017. In the month of July 2017, Uttar Pradesh state Govt. submitted the NOC for declaration of this road as new NH, said official sources.
