NHAI sets to start Rs.100 cr elevated road in Manesar

NHAI
Aiming at decongesting traffic on the busiest Delhi-Jaipur NH-8, NHAI has recently prepared a detailed project report (DPR) for the 1.2-km-long elevated flyover in Manesar in Gurgaon district, said official sources, that the cost of the project is Rs.100 crore and its construction will be completed in 15 months. The proposed elevated flyover will start 300 metre after IMT Manesar Chowk flyover and will go all the way till NSG Manesar Camp, crossing the congested Manesar market thereby offering highway users hassle-free travelling experience via back-to-back flyovers. The geographical location of the place is as such that it has busy markets situated on the either side of the NH-8. The elevated flyover will bypass the market area giving safe crossing to pedestrians as high speed vehicles will now use the flyover. IMT Manesar is known for industries and large number of heavy vehicles are plying every day on this road. It may be recalled that the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway is crossing just five-km-away from the place at Pachgaon on this stretch.
