Adding to its project portfolio in the country’s road sector, NHAI is all set to award Rs. 15,000 crore projects in Rajasthan and PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for these projects very shortly. Apart from this, he will also dedicate to the nation 11 completed National Highway projects totaling a length of about 873 km, transport ministry said in a statement, claiming that the 11 projects include a 6-lane Cable Stayed Bridge across river Chambal at Kota. These are at Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Pali, Nagaur, Barmer, Sikar, Churu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer areas of the state and that the PM will also perform bhoomi poojan for six NH projects commanding a length of about 556 km, the statement added.
