NHAI Invites Bids for 52 Highway Projects Worth Rs 1.15 Lakh Cr in Current Financial Year

As part of its transparency and open governance initiative, NHAI has started publishing comprehensive project details on its official website. The updates include critical information such as project length, mode of implementation (BOT/HAM/EPC), total capital cost, approval status, land acquisition progress, and environment, forest, and railway clearances.
By making such data publicly available, NHAI aims to ensure a level playing field for all bidders, reduce disputes, and attract broader participation from contractors, developers, and investors. The project information will be updated every two weeks, allowing real-time tracking of approval and clearance progress, thereby enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the project award process.
This initiative is also expected to strengthen Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) by improving clarity in project preparation and execution. Moreover, data-driven monitoring will boost industry and investor confidence, providing a clearer picture of India’s rapid progress in National Highway development.
The move underscores NHAI’s commitment to open governance, timely project rollouts, and sustainable infrastructure growth, reinforcing India’s position as one of the fastest-growing highway networks in the world.
