NHAI awards Rs.2,013 cr project to DBL

Continuing the recent trend of bagging more and more contracts in the country’s road and highway sector, Dilip Buildcon, in a recent cache has again been declared as the lowest bidder by NHAI for a Rs.2,013 crore highway project in Andhra Pradesh to be constructed under HAM model, said an official spokesperson, that the company has been declared L-1 bidder by the National Highways Authority of India for a new project in Andhra Pradesh. The road project in question pertains to six-laning of Anandapuram-Pendurthi-Anakapalli section of NH 5 (new NH 16) from 681 km to 731.78 km under Bharatmala Pariyojna scheme, whereby, the construction period for the 50.8-km road stretch is 30 months.
