Fast tracking the road widening work of NH-24 from Delhi to Hapur, NHAI has recently awarded the Delhi-Hapur stretch of the highway in three packages, like Package-I: Nizamuddin Bridge to UP Border, Package-II: UP Border to Dasna, and Package-III: Dasna to Hapur. The scheduled date of completion for package I and Package III is June 2019.The contract agreement for Package II has already been signed in April this year. The completion date is 910 days from the date of start and appointed date. On this score, for UP border to Dasna stretch, diversion of forest land has been approved, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers, Shri Mansukh L.Mandaviya said in a recent statement.
