NHAI awards ₹1,382-cr road project to ACL

NHAI
NHAI has awarded a ₹1,382 crore national highway project to Ashoka Concessions Ltd (ACL) - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon. The government will provide 40% of the project cost for the 56 km stretch under HAM, and the remaining investment will be by the developer. It may be recalled that the company had submitted its bid to NHAI for the Tumkur-Shivamogga section of highway from Bettadahalli Shivamogga (Package IV) in Karnataka on HAM under Bharatmala project, and that it emerged as the lowest bidder in the financial bid, and prior to this, NHAI had decided that the development of Tumkur-Shivamogga Section of NH-206 in Karnataka will be executed on HAM module.
