NBCC plans to acquire more distressed assets in the real estate sector, informed chairman Anoop Kumar Mittal. The company has already placed a bid for Jaypee Infratech to be resolved through the corporate insolvency process and is eyeing a few other projects and examining their commercial viability with no corporate governance issues. NBCC expects to have an order book of ₹95,000 crore as it has recently acquired another state-run firm Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation (HSCC) for ₹285 crore.
