Nashik gets Rs. 190 cr road upgrade

Nashik Road Upgrade
In its quest to provide hassle-free and smooth transport facilities to its citizens, the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to inject Rs. 190-cr for upgrading roads. Out of the total funds, Rs. 82.82-cr has been earmarked for asphalting and resurfacing of roads within its jurisdiction. The proposal has been put up for approval in the upcoming standing committee meeting. Many main and ring roads were developed during the Kumbh Mela, but the work on colony roads was excluded and proposed to be carried out after the mega religious event. In the meantime, heavy rainfall exposed innumerable potholes in the colony roads forcing the local body to take this decision.
