NaBFID and NDB Join Hands for Infrastructure Financing

The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) has signed an MoU with the New Development Bank (NDB) to strengthen cooperation in infrastructure financing and create a sustainable financial ecosystem.
The NDB, founded by BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), focuses on mobilizing funds for infrastructure and sustainable development projects in emerging markets. This collaboration aims to bridge the infrastructure financing gap and enhance long-term cooperation, including knowledge exchange and technical expertise sharing.
Under this partnership, NaBFID will explore joint projects with NDB in clean energy, transportation, water management, and sewage systems. The MoU also paves the way for collaborative participation in thematic infrastructure initiatives aligned with their respective mandates.
