The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has expedited the process for the construction a flyover and widening of road in Mumbra at an estimated cost of Rs. 90cr. On this score, the MMRDA invited e-tenders for the construction of a flyover at Mumbra bypass junction on NH-4 and also widening of road under the extended Mumbai Urban Infrastructure Project (MUIP). This project will help segregate highway and local traffic. The 540m long and 24m wide 3 plus 3 lane flyover will be constructed from Atlanta Toll Naka to Bharat Gear Company in Mumbra, said an industry insider.
