MSRDC Acquires 360 Ha for Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor

The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has secured 360 hectares of land for the Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor (VAMMC), which will connect Raigad, Thane, and Palghar districts. The project requires a total of 1,000 hectares and will feature an eight to 14-lane access-controlled road. With an estimated cost of ₹55,000 crore, the project is expected to be completed by 2030. Compensation for land acquisition will be provided under the LARR Act of 2015.
