To build top class road and highway network in Madhya Pradesh, the transport minister, Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stones for 35 projects entailing an investment of ₹9,400 crore. The state CM informed that the newly launched projects will pave way for faster economic development with better connectivity thereby improving the socio-economic conditions of the masses in the state. The Union transport minister has also inaugurated a score of projects in the state's road and transport sector.
