MoRTH Greenlights ₹292.65 Cr for Jharkhand Highway Expansion

the Hybrid Annuity System (HAS) mode for the Four-laning
MoRTH has announced the approval of ₹292.65 crore under the Hybrid Annuity System (HAS) mode for the Four-laning of Tower Chowk to Basukinath section of National Highway 114A in Dumka district, Jharkhand. The project aims to improve transportation to the important religious sites of Deoghar and Basukinath. Currently, the existing 2-lane roads face congestion, especially during Shravani Mela, as devotees use this route to visit Deoghar and Basukinath. Upgrading the roads to four lanes will alleviate congestion and contribute to the social and economic development of the area.
