With an investment of ₹10.50 crore, this plant will filter 16 million liters of water per day using raw water from the Taldanda Canal. Scheduled for completion by December 2024, the plant will significantly improve the water infrastructure of Paradip Port and ensure a quality drinking water supply for the residents of Port Township.
Shri Ramachandran also reviewed the functioning of the PPA, interacting with various Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments. He inspected port operations and expansion projects at the Mechanized Coal Handling Plant, Twin Wagon Tipplers at JSWPTPL, and KICT silos, suggesting system improvements to boost productivity.

The Secretary's recommendations are expected to further enhance the port's capacity and streamline operations, contributing to its long-term growth and success.
