NCRTC Submits Report for RRTS Link to Noida Airport and Ghaziabad
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has submitted a preliminary feasibility report for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) link connecting Noida Airport and Ghaziabad. The proposed alignment includes a 37.15 km corridor to Ghaziabad and Kasna and a 35.11 km stretch between Kasna and Noida Airport. The corridor to Ghaziabad and Kasna will feature a total of 22 stations, with 15 for the metro and 7 for the RRTS. The stretch between Kasna and Noida Airport will have 4 stations. Additionally, a local metro module between Ghaziabad and Kasna is proposed, aiming to enhance accessibility for residents of Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and YEIDA.
