KPIL wins DMRC's Package DE-08 Phase-IV contract

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has successfully secured the electrification contract for Package DE-08 from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). This package involves the electrification of the magenta and silver lines, covering design, detail engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 25KV AC traction, 33KV auxiliary sub-stations (ASS), associated cabling, and SCADA systems. The project specifically focuses on the underground corridors of the magenta line extension, including Line-8 Extension, and the underground and elevated corridor of the Silver Line in Delhi Metro Phase 4. DMRC had invited bids for this package in April, and the awarded contract has a three-year deadline from the date of the Letter of Award (LoA). The formal awarding of the contract is expected shortly.
