DMRC starts DPR work for New Delhi Railway Station – Knowledge Park 2 metro line
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has begun working on the detailed project report (DPR) for a 37 km metro line between New Delhi Railway Station and Knowledge Park-II in Greater Noida. The corridor will consist of six stations, with 3 km underground and the remaining 34 km above ground. The line is part of a larger proposed network that will link different areas of Greater Noida and Delhi, including a connection between Indira Gandhi International Airport and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. The line is expected to provide hassle-free connectivity between the two airports, with trains capable of travelling at a speed of 120 km per hour.
