DMRC initiates Multi-Modal Integration at key metro stations

DMRC
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has initiated plans to enable Multi-Modal Integration (MMI) by transforming Chandni Chowk, Inderlok, and Laxmi Nagar metro stations. The core aim of this endeavour is to ease congestion in the areas surrounding these stations by creating specialized lanes for bicycles, e-rickshaws, and autorickshaws. Multi-Modal Integration (MMI) joins metro stations with buses, autos, and e-rickshaws, improving last-mile connectivity within 300 meters. This includes new access points, walkways, and parking. MMI is operational at 69 DMRC metro stations. Bids can be submitted from September 18th to October 17th.
