The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety has approved the KR Pura-Byappanhahalli metro line stretch, which is aimed at providing hassle-free and seamless connectivity to the people in the area, especially those living in and around Whitefield. As per BMRCL estimates, this stretch is expected to increase the footfall by about 60,000. Once the KR Pura-Baiyappanhali and Kengri-Challaghatta sections are opened, the 44Km-long Purple Line will become fully operational, offering easy and efficient commuting between Whitefield & Challaghatta.
