Ayesa India has been awarded the Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contract for Jaipur Metro's Phase 1C and 1D projects, extending the Pink Line in both east (Transport Nagar) and west (Ajmer Road Chauraha) directions. The Rs 3.19 crore bid by Ayesa was the lowest, significantly below the Rs 4.39 crore budget. The DDC role encompasses alternate designs for civil, architectural, building services, electrical, and mechanical works. Afcons Infra secured the construction contract for the underground section of Phase 1C (Badi Chaupar – Transport Nagar Ramp) in September 2023, while the tendering process for elevated sections awaits a retender notice following cancellation in mid-September 2023.
