MEP Infra wins Rs.604-cr road project

Adding to its project portfolio, a wholly owned subsidiary of MEP Infrastructure Developers, MEP Sanjose Mahuva Kagavadar Road Private Ltd, has entered into a concession agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the four lanning of Mahuva to Kagvadar of NH-8E entailing an investment of Rs.604 crore. The road project covers length from 100.100 km to 139.915 km (Package -III) in the state of Gujarat on Hybrid Annuity Mode under NHDP Phase IV with a construction period of 2.5 years from May 15, 2017, the appointed date for the project. Out of the total project cost the company will generate Rs.272.11 crore from financial institutions and the remaining sum will be granted by NHAI and also from the equity contribution of the company, said an official spokesperson.
