MEIL Completes AMRUT Drinking Water Project in Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh

MEIL Group has successfully completed the AMRUT scheme drinking water project in Proddatur, YSR Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. The project sources water from the Penna River at Mylavaram Dam and includes a 10-metre intake well, a high-capacity pump house, and a 43 MLD advanced water treatment plant.

The infrastructure also comprises balancing reservoirs, elevated storage tanks, and an extensive pipeline network designed to deliver safe and clean potable water to every household in the region. The project is expected to significantly improve water accessibility and quality for residents of Proddatur while strengthening the urban water supply system under the AMRUT initiative.
