MahaMetro plans 13 realty projects along Nagpur Metro line

In a move that will not just ensure hassle-free commuting to locals but also alter the real estate landscape in and around Nagpur with the MahaMetro launching 13 mega real estate projects along metro line. Out of the targeted projects, six have already been sanctioned and the construction work is set to start shortly. These projects are spreading across the city as the MahaMetro is banking on easy accessibility of these projects for response from potential customers. MahaMetro will build two tallest buildings in the city — 25-storey towers — opposite Yeshwant Stadium in Dhantoli and Kasturchand Park. It will also build a 20-storey building at Zero Mile. In addition, there are several big commercial projects in the offing in the city. Combined together the 11 projects are the biggest real estate projects in the city their cost runs into thousands of crore, managing director Brijesh Dixit, said adding that one is the traffic and transit management centre (TTMC) opposite Yeshwant Stadium with Sitabuldi interchange station via an elevated skywalk. Tender for this project has already been floated and five major players — Inorbit, Prozone, Phoenix, WTC and Zender have already sent enquiries, he claimed.
