MahaMetro floats tender for elevated stations

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited has floated tender for the construction of balance works on six elevated stations for Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1. The tender, which was floated on behalf of the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO), includes design and construction of balance works of Concrete & Fabricated Steel Structures, Architectural works, Plumbing and Sewerage for elevated metro stations at Kharghar Village, Kendriya Vihar, Utsav chowk, Belpada, RBI Colony & Belapur Terminal Station for Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1. The Tender Number NM1-C-01/2021 involves an investment of ₹103.65 crore with a completion period of 12 months. The scope of work also includes carrying out a detailed survey of the station locations and surrounding areas and allied facilities, soil investigation and locating piles (if required), pile-caps and open foundations as needed for the station's access works avoiding shifting of utilities as required.
